Even with extensive state and federal laws and regulations concerning the operation of nursing facilities nationwide, many residents become the victim of abuse, mistreatment and neglect by the medical staff in charge of their care. Instead of bringing comfort and happiness to the elderly, infirm or disabled, those in charge of providing services cause harm. Often times, the victim is physically, emotionally and psychologically damaged at a time in their life where they require the utmost care and assistance.
Our team of dedicated nursing home abuse attorneys work hard to protect the rights of victims of nursing home abuse throughout the state of Illinois. We publish valuable publicly available information regarding the safety concerns and filed complaints of nursing facility statewide.

In a separate summary statement of deficiencies dated 03/25/2015, a complaint investigation was opened against the facility for its failure “to follow their abuse policy for [2 residents]. This failure resulted in IDPH [Illinois Department of Public Health] not being notified about the incident of verbal abuse within 24 hours.”
