Accident In Chicago Hotel
People from around the world love staying in the elegant hotels along Michigan Avenue and favorite locations around the city. Chicago has a wide range of hotels to offer travelers, starting from budget motels to pristine five-star hotels renowned for their amenities and beautiful rooms.

No matter which type of accommodation one may choose for a visit in Chicago, it is still possible that a single mistake or maintenance oversight can cause a slip and fall accident or another incident.

An enjoyable trip can instantly take a turn for the worse when hotel staff, maintenance crew members, and engineers fail to take necessary precautions to create a safe atmosphere for guests and tourists.

The negligent behavior of hotel employees can cause a business trip or vacation to turn sour instantly. It is essential that injured tourists contact a lawyer when an accident occurs during a trip. Even though obtaining legal representation may be an inconvenience, contacting a personal injury lawyer may save you thousands of dollars in the long run.

It is crucial to find a lawyer who will advocate for you even if you must return to another state or country within a few weeks at the end of your vacation.

Our personal injury lawyers in the Chicago area are well acquainted with the hotels in the area and their safety practices. Attorneys can use this knowledge, as well as their comprehensive understanding of the local court system, to help you assert your legal rights to receive compensation.

Types of Chicago Hotel Accidents

There is a much better chance to be injured in a hotel compared to other locations. Tourists staying in a hotel for extended periods of time have a higher risk of a slip and fall accident compared to getting hurt in a shopping mall, restaurant or grocery store.

Hotel employees must be consistent in their approach to safety and maintenance work in the hotel.

However, problems can arise if the facility is understaffed or unable to afford necessary repair work. The most common accidents that can occur due to the negligence of employees in a hotel:

Accident victims hurt in a Chicago hotel should contact a lawyer who knows how to resolve a compensation case successfully. Hotel managers deal with these types of accidents on a regular basis, so they are well-trained to minimize the appearance of any impropriety or liability.

An accident could also be the result of a subtle factor, such as a hotel’s failure to provide the proper lighting in an area. If you feel that your injuries are no fault of your own, you may want to contact a Chicago hotel accident attorney who can investigate the circumstances that lead to your injuries.

Considering Which Parties are Negligent in a Chicago Hotel Accident Case

There may also be more than one negligent party involved in a hotel premises liability action. An injured victim may have to sue the hotel owner, property manager or a contracted company that provides security workers for the hotel.

If the victim suffered injuries by faulty hotel equipment like a hair dryer or other item, they might consider filing a claim against the product manufacturer. Because these cases are often very complicated, it is essential to use the skills of a Chicago premises liability lawyer to determine the appropriate parties to sue.

Client Reviews
Jonathan Rosenfeld was professionally objective, timely, and knowledgeable. Also, his advice was extremely effective regarding my case. In addition, Jonathan was understanding and patient pertaining to any of my questions or concerns. I was very happy with the end result and I highly recommend Jonathan Rosenfeld. Michonne Proulx
Extremely impressed with this law firm. They took control of a bad motorcycle crash that left my uncle seriously injured. Without any guarantee of a financial recovery, they went out and hired accident investigators and engineers to help prove how the accident happened. I am grateful that they worked on a contingency fee basis as there was no way we could have paid for these services on our own. Ethan Armstrong
This lawyer really helped me get compensation for my motorcycle accident case. I know there is no way that I could have gotten anywhere near the amount that Mr. Rosenfeld was able to get to settle my case. Thank you. Daniel Kaim
Jonathan helped my family heal and get compensation after our child was suffered a life threatening injury at daycare. He was sympathetic and in constant contact with us letting us know all he knew every step of the way. We were so blessed to find Jonathan! Giulia
Jonathan did a great job helping my family navigate through a lengthy lawsuit involving my grandmother's death in a nursing home. Through every step of the case, Jonathan kept my family informed of the progression of the case. Although our case eventually settled at a mediation, I really was impressed at how well prepared Jonathan was to take the case to trial. Lisa
