Cerebral Palsy Website Gets Final Edits

For parents coping with the complexities associated with a child who has been diagnosed with cerebral palsy or other birth injury– every aspect of life changes to accommodate the needs of the child.  At some point, whether its in the days following birth or after years watching their child struggle to achieve developmental milestones, many parents begin to wonder how or why the condition developed in the first place.

Understanding the specific reasons behind the development of cerebral palsy in a child can be an ever evolving process that frequently requires the input of several physicians who have training in specific fields.

Our experience working with families with children who have cerebral palsy, Erb’s Palsy and other birth injuries has indeed opened our eyes to the expanse of questions that frequently accompany each phase of the child’s development.  With the creation of Cerebral Palsy Lawyers FAQ (http://www.cerebralpalsylawyersfaq.com), our goal to to assemble both a compilation of frequently asked questions concerning CP— but also to provide families with the resources so they can access information about their child’s unique situation.

The rapid growth of the Internet has created an explosion of opportunity for people to do their own research and form their own opinions on topics from most elemental to the most comprehensive.  Rather than just provide a laundry list of resources, we have assembled a selective group of online and traditional resources that we have found helpful and others that have been suggested to us by families in similar situations.

Never to become a static website, we have a team of dedicated professionals who will update Cerebral Palsy Lawyers FAQ on a regular basis and as new developments are made in the fields of cerebral palsy research, cerebral palsy treatment and stories of hope come out concerning this condition.  We truly have brought resources from across the globe to create an expansive resource that parents can use as reference tool that they can return to as their situation changes.

Of course, we also want to hear from parents of children with cerebral palsy.  We want to hear your stories:

What has proved helpful for your child and your family?

How your family is coping?

What setbacks you have had and how you are dealing with them?

As the construction dust settles on this new web tool, we hope to report back in the near future when the site is ready for launch.  Until, then we invite you to visit out other web resources focused on cerebral palsy at our Child Injury Blog- Cerebral Palsy and at our main firm site’s cerebral palsy practice page.
